Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of EURegWatch (the “Service”), operated from Vienna, Austria. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
EURegWatch is an automated information service that monitors publicly available EU legal sources, generates AI summaries of newly published regulations, and delivers those summaries to subscribers by email and, on Growth and Pro plans, via dashboard and API.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter contracts on behalf of any business you represent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscription, billing and waitlist offer
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle. All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record for EU-compliant tax and invoicing; we never store your card details. Waitlist members who sign up before launch receive a free first month and 30% off the next three months — applied automatically when the service goes live. Annual plans receive a 20% discount versus the monthly rate of the same plan. Prices are in EUR and exclude applicable VAT.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods after cancellation, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
5. Important disclaimer — not legal advice
EURegWatch provides informational summaries of publicly available EU legal texts. It is not legal advice and does not create any attorney-client relationship. Our summaries are produced by automated systems and may not reflect every nuance relevant to your situation. You must not make compliance decisions, take regulatory action, or refrain from taking action based solely on a EURegWatch summary. For binding interpretation of any regulation that may apply to your business, consult a lawyer admitted in your jurisdiction.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you have paid us in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under mandatory law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell or sub-license your account, scrape or copy our summaries to operate a competing service, use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages, or interfere with the integrity of the Service.
8. Intellectual property
EU legal texts are in the public domain. The summaries we generate, the user interface, and the brand are protected by copyright and trade-mark rights and remain our property. Subscribers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the summaries internally within their own business.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (Cloudflare, Supabase, Paddle, EU source systems) or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Changes
Material changes that affect scope or pricing of an existing subscription are announced at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel before they take effect.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For business customers, the courts of Vienna, Austria, have exclusive jurisdiction. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body and currently do not.
